We chose Carova Beach Builders to construct our ocean home from home in 2021. Joey is a great communicator and we enjoyed working with him through the entire process. At the front end, he helped us narrow down our basic design and find an architect to work with to make sure we got what he wanted. When construction began, he sent us pictures and videos almost weekly and welcomed us onto the job site as often as we wanted to be there to make sure everything was going to be just what we wanted. He was flexible when we came up with new ideas in the middle of the process (like my recessed broom closet or the custom bench I wanted to build myself for the nook in the living room). He recognized it was our house and worked with us to solve any problems that came up along the way. It was a bummer when the window company lost our bathroom windows and we had to either halt construction or remove them from the plans, but we appreciated the dialog and the efforts to solve problems as a team. I can't imagine working with anyone else. The house is solid, and it is beautiful. The materials were all high quality and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Joey is also an excellent project manager. The building of the house, and later the deck/tower, was very well scheduled and coordinated and completed with no delays. Carova Beach Builders involves mostly local contractors. That means that our house was built with pride by our neighbors, and that means a lot to us. Joey managed the financial aspect of the project flawlessly. There were absolutely no issues concerning costs or payments during our two projects.
